VERSÍCULO: "O longânimo é grande em entendimento, mas o de ânimo precipitado exalta a loucura."

Provérbios 14:29

PENSAMENTO: Responder rápido a provocação,

ameaça, insulto ou dificuldade

é sinal de força

para muitas pessoas hoje em dia.

No entanto,

reagir depressa motivado por ira é tolice.

Isto raramente

produz o efeito desejado a longo prazo,

e quase sempre complica os problemas

que precisam ser resolvidos.

Lidar com situações frustrantes e dolorosas com paciência

revela entendimento

e geralmente

produz melhores frutos

a longo prazo.

ORAÇÃO: "Pai, eu peço paciência e domínio próprio.

Eu sei que essas virtudes

são parte do fruto do seu Espírito na minha vida,

então

eu peço para que o Espírito Santo

tenha mais impacto no meu coração

e minha vida.

Por favor,

dê-me o entendimento e a sabedoria

para manter minha boca fechada,

até que eu tenha oportunidade de orar

e pensar sobre as questões

e as pessoas nelas envolvidas.

PENSAMENTO: Às vezes as coisas mais importantes

não são difíceis de entender. Deus deseja que O amemos

com todas as fibras do nosso ser,

e também que amemos a todos ao nosso redor.

Todos os Seus mandamentos

sobre caráter no final das contas

se resumem a honrar estes dois grandes princípios

que transcendem lei,

e trazem

o caráter de Deus aos corações.

PENSAMENTO: Sua fé suporta testes? Eu espero que a minha suporte!

Este é um Salmo escrito durante um período de teste.

Apesar disso,independente da dificuldade da situação,

o Salmista ainda sabe quem Deus é

e o que ele pode fazer,

quando Ele decide fazê-lo.

Mesmo na tribulação,

ele não perde de vista a bênção que vem

da presença do SENHOR.

ORAÇÃO: "Pai, faça sua presença se fazer conhecida na minha vida. Eutenho confiança de que o Senhor está lá. Eu só preciso sentir suapresença e receber seu livramento. No nome de Jesus eu oro. Amém."
